Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi played terminally ill cancer patients in the 2014 American film adaptation of John Green's 2012 novel The Fault in Our Stars. Rajput died on June 14, 2020 (a month before the film's release) and unexpectedly made a posthumous appearance in the film.
The film was shot mainly in Jamshedpur and Ranchi, with occasional shots in Mumbai, except for the final scene which was shot in Paris, France.
