He is the grandson of director-producer Nasir Hussain and the nephew of actor Aamir Khan and director-producer Mansoor Khan. This was Aamir Khan’s feature cinematic debut. Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak won the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment at the 36th Filmfare Awards. Imran Khan Movie: Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na (2008)
Aamir Khan Productions Mansoor Khan and Abbas Tyrewala under the banner of Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na with Ajay K. Bijli and Sanjeev K. Bijli of PVR Pictures serving as co-producers produced the 2008 Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy about coming of age.
It also marks the scripting and directing debuts of writer Tyrewala as well as the acting debuts of Genelia D’Souza who plays the lead role and Manjari Fadnis who plays Prateik Babbar as well as Imran Khan Aamir’s nephew who plays the lead role. When it was first released the music for the movie which was created by A. R. Rahman was met with a lot of critical and financial success.

Imran Khan Movie: Luck (2009)
Luck is a 2009 Hindi-language action-thriller movie that was written directed and produced by Dhilin Mehta under the banner of Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd. Mithun Chakraborty Shruti Haasan who is making her acting debut Imran Khan Sanjay Dutt Danny Denzongpa Ravi Kishan and Chitrashi Rawat all play significant roles. Santosh Thundiyil operated the camera for the movie and Salim-Sulaiman composed the soundtrack. The film was released on July 24 2009.
The Salim-Sulaiman pair composed nine songs for the soundtrack CD and Amar Mohile provided the background music. For eight tracks Shabbir Ahmed wrote the lyrics mostly and Anvita Dutt Guptan wrote the lyrics for Jee Le.
On June 28 2009 one month before the movie’s debut the audio of the movie was made widely available. Notably the album includes a song fully sung by the film’s lead heroine Shruti Haasan who made her acting debut.
Imran Khan Movie: Break Ke Baad (2010)
Imran Khan and Deepika Padukone star in Danish Aslam’s romantic comedy Break Ke Baad which was released in 2010 in Hindi. In 2011 Ali Abbas Zafar made his directorial debut with the romantic comedy Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. It was written and produced by Aditya Chopra for Yash Raj Films. Dimple Dixit (Kaif) and Luv Agnihotri (Zafar) are getting married in the movie but things get complicated when Dimple and Kush (Khan) start feeling things for one another in the days before the wedding.
The release of Mere Brother Ki Dulhan was unexpectedly delayed from its original July 2011 release date. On September 9 of the same year Sony Pictures Networks distributed it in Indian theaters. With a global gross of $856 million (US$11 million) Mere Brother Ki Dulhan is the ninth-highest-grossing Indian language movie of 2011.
The film earned favorable reviews from critics who praised Kaif’s acting narrative soundtrack and humor. Mere Brother Ki Dulhan received two nominations for the 57th Filmfare Awards: best actress (Kaif) and best music director (Sohail Sen).
Imran Khan Movie: Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu (2011)
This movie was co-written and directed by Shakun Batra in his feature film debut and it was also produced by Karan Johar Hiroo Yash Johar and Ronnie Screwvala of UTV Motion Pictures under the umbrella of Dharma Productions. Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor are the movie’s main actors and Ratna Pathak Shah Boman Irani and Ram Kapoor play minor roles.
The story revolves around Rahul Kapoor a stiff architect from Las Vegas Nevada who loses his job and unintentionally marries Riana Braganza a free-spirited hairstylist after a night of indiscretion. Rahul and Riana decide to dissolve their marriage but soon find themselves attracted to one another endangering their fledgling relationship.
The score and songs for the movie’s soundtrack were written by Clinton Cerejo and Amit Trivedi respectively. Amitabh Bhattacharya wrote the lyrics to the songs. Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu which was originally scheduled to hit theaters in the fall of 2011 finally debuted on February 10 2012 to positive reviews with acclaim primarily going to Kapoor and Khan’s acting and it was a modest commercial success.
Imran Khan Movie: Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobara (2012)

Ekta and Shobha Kapoor and Milan Luthria are the producers of this Indian gangster movie in the Hindi language. Akshay Kumar Imran Khan and Sonakshi Sinha are among the cast members of this Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai sequel which also features a cameo by Sonali Bendre. The title of the movie is a deliberate misreading of Once upon a time in Mumbai Dobaara done by Ekta’s belief in numerology and astrology.
The first significant Indian production to be filmed in the sultanate shooting began on August 27 2012 in Mumbai. In September production moved to Oman. In addition to the Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa at the Shangri-La at Muscat the footage was also taken on a beach in Qantab Qurum. Reliance MediaWorks handled the visual effects (VFX) for the movie.
In one month a group of 40 artists enhanced 600 digital pictures. Digital motion picture cameras from RED and Arri’s Alexa were used to capture the live-action scenes. The second trailer for Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Dobaara! was broadcast on four television channels during prime time. The movie’s theatrical trailer was screened by Hollywood actor Al Pacino.
On August 15 2013 the eve of India’s Independence Day the movie was released nationwide. This was postponed to avoid competing with Shah Rukh Khan’s August 9 release of Chennai Express. Even though Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Dobaara! made 917 million dollars against an 850 million dollar budget it earned mixed to unfavorable reviews from critics and failed at the box office.
