The film centers on Madhav Apte, a middle-class bank clerk who is an honest, law-abiding man, but who is angered by the injustice and corruption in every aspect of his life on a daily basis. As he nears the breaking point, Apte experiences a mental breakdown, which is depicted in the film, and then goes on a rampage through Mumbai as a vigilante, trying to right the wrongs. Timepass 3 is a 2022 Marathi romantic comedy film produced and directed by Meghana Jadhav. It is the third installment in the Timepass franchise. The film stars Prathamesh Parab, Hruta Durgule, and Bhalchandra Kadam in the lead roles, besides Sanjay Narvekar and Vaibhav Mangle in supporting roles. Timepass 3 hits theaters on July 29, 2022. The story follows Dagdu Parab, who longs for a fresh start after finally passing his Class 12 exams and getting admitted into a science college. His classmate Pallavi grows close to him. Bhau Kadam plays the role of Shantaram Parab.

Chala Hawa Yeu Dya is a Marathi-language Indian television show that premiered on Zee Marathi. The show opens with a comedic monologue on current affairs by Nilesh Sable, which then transitions into guest interviews, usually with celebrity guests from the Marathi film and theatre industry, followed by comedy skits by regular cast members Bhalchandra Kadam, Kushal Badrike, Bharat Ganeshpure, Shreya Bugade, Sagar Karande, Ankur Vadhave, Yogesh Shirsat, Tushar Deol, Umesh Jagtap, Snehal Shidam. The show premiered on 18 August 2014. On 7 November 2017, the show was first interrupted for the shooting of a new season, and on 8 January 2018, the show returned with an extended title, Jagbhar Chala Hawa Yeu Dya, which chronicles the comedian’s Veena world tour. However, the audience response to the third and eighth seasons was negative, calling them cheesy comedies. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the show went off air for the second time on March 24, 2020 and resumed on July 13, 2020. Due to poor response and falling TRPs, they cancelled the eight-season series Ms. Zindabad in April 2021 without performing the finale.

The comedy series Fu Bai Fu was aired in Marathi on Zee Marathi from 2010 to 2014. Daily soap stars performed stand-up comedy on Marathi television.
