Early Life and Childhood

Vicky Kaushal was born on May 16, 1988, in a suburban chawl in Mumbai. His parents are Sham Kaushal, a well-known action director in Bollywood, and Veena Kaushal, a homemaker. His younger brother, Sunny, is also in the acting profession. His family, consisting of Punjabi Hindus, originally hails from Hoshiarpur.
