Vedant Madhavan is an Indian swimmer. Vedant Madhavan won the 48th Indian National Junior Swimming Championships by winning four gold medals and three silver medals. He set an Indian record in the 1500m freestyle with a time of 16:01.73. He is the son of famous actor R. Madhavan.
Vedant Madhavan started his career in school, where he participated in competitive swimming. When Vedant wanted to improve his swimming skills, he joined the Goregaon Sports Club in Mumbai. There, he competed with national-level swimmers like Kapil Shetty.
Later, in 2017, the swimmer joined the Glenmark Aquatic Foundation in Mumbai for additional training in swimming. After that, they attended a 30-day camp in Bengaluru to prepare for the swimming competition. After that, Vedant participated in the third SFI All India National Club Championship and then left.
