Shivangi Joshi is an Indian actress who predominantly appears on Hindi television. In 2013 she made her acting debut as Trisha in Khelti Hai Zindagi Aankh Micholi. Joshi is also recognized for her dual performances in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai as Sirat Shekhawat Goenka and Naira Singhania Goenka for which she received multiple accolades including Gold Awards.
In the daily TV series Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai she is most known for her role as Naira Goenka. From 2016 through 2021 the serial was the longest-running program. Beginning her career Shivangi Joshi played the lead in the television series Begusarai.

Shivangi Joshi cleared the air on Thursday dispelling the rumors. The Balika Vadhu actress clarified on Instagram that she was referring to leaving behind her character Naira rather than a specific individual. She also said that she had requested a few personal questions be skipped. I mentioned it’s hard to move on from my then-character Naira and not anyone else she remarked.
Even though neither Shivangi nor Mohsin had commented about their supposed connection there were some rumors about it. However later on they made their love public by posting PDA pictures on social media which made us all swoon over them. Rumors about their breakup quickly began to circulate. A source told SpotboyE in a 2018 article that there was some sort of rift between Shivangi and Mohsin and that their relationship was not as warm as it once was. The insider finished by stating that there appeared to be some simmering animosity between the two.
Career
Joshi made her television debut in 2013 on Zee TV’s Khelti Hai Zindagi Aankh Micholi. She subsequently went on to play Aayat Haider in Beintehaa. In 2014’s Love by Chance she portrayed Vishy. In Begusarai she later portrayed Poonam Thakur opposite Vishal Aditya Singh.
She made her acting debut in 2016 as Meera in Season 4 of Yeh Hai Aashiqui before appearing as Jyoti in Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya. The same year she started portraying Naira Singhania Goenka in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus. In January 2021 her character was killed off although Joshi continued to appear as Sirat Shekhawat Goenka a lookalike figure. Both this second character and Joshi were killed off the show in October 2021.
The movie Our Own Sky was supposed to have its Cannes Film Festival premiere in 2020 but because of the coronavirus it was instead distributed on the OTT platform. She would portray Anandi Bhujaariya in Balika Vadhu 2 on Colors TV; it was revealed in November 2021.
Additionally she has been seen in the music videos for Mohsin Khan’s Aadatein Baarish and Teri Ada as well as Kismat Teri Aashiqui O Dilbar Yaara and Humnava with Stebin Ben. She declared that she would be competing in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 in May 2022.
Khelti Hai Zindagi Aankh Micholi (2013)
Indian television serial Khelti Hai Zindagi Aankh Micholi made its debut on Zee TV on September 9 2013. It is made by Essel Vision Productions and stars Gautami Kapoor Helly Shah Ulka Gupta and Shivangi Joshi.
The protagonist of Khelti Hai Zindagi Aankh Micholi is Ami a 14-year-old girl played by Ulka Gupta or Helly Shah whose father has passed away. Shruti (Gautami Kapoor) her mother was compelled to assume the roles of both parent and child. Sanjay (Manav Gohil) a family friend of Shruti declares his desire to wed her. Initially refusing Shruti eventually agrees to marry him under familial pressure.
Production of the program commenced on September 6 2013. It was supposed to premiere on September 9 2013 but that date was postponed. Helly Shah took over as Ami in December 2013 when Ulka Gupta left.
The program is titled Life of Ami and is broadcast on Zee World.When a 14-year-old girl’s father passes away her life is turned upside down forcing her mother to make difficult decisions for their family.
Begusarai (2015)
Play
Begusarai is a serial that was featured on &TV. The show premiered on March 2 2015 and ran until June 24 2016. Leading actors included Shivangi Joshi Vishal Aditya Singh Shweta Tiwari and Sartaj Gill.
The drama takes place in Begusarai Bihar. The program was made by Swastik Pictures (Swastik Productions Pvt. Ltd.).The Thakur family is the focus of the narrative which is set in the Bihar region of Begusarai. As troubles crop up that threaten to end the Thakur family’s existence for good the family members become divided and even band together.
To generate money dancing at events Bindiya a dancer arrives in Begusarai. She wishes to destroy the Thakurs because her father was the previous monarch of Begusarai whom Phulan killed by dragging Bindiya and her mother along with him and taking his place. Lakhan continues to torment Poonam after their marriage.
Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya (2016)
An Indian television drama series called Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya debuted on Zing on May 23 2014. The show’s second season premiered in September 2014 followed by the third season’s premiere on November 21 2014 the fourth season on April 17 2015 the fifth season on July 17 2015 the sixth season on October 2 2015 the seventh season on February 12 2016 the eighth season on July 1 2016 and the ninth season which premiered on November 18 2016 and ended on October 27 2017. Seasons 11 and 12 both debuted on October 24 2020 and August 15 2021 respectively.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (2019)
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai sometimes referred to as YRKKH is an Indian romantic drama television series in the Hindi language that is broadcast on StarPlus and streamed online on Disney+ Hotstar. It debuted on January 12 2009 and as of 2019 it produced 3000 episodes making it the longest-running Indian television soap opera.
It formerly starred Hina Khan Karan Mehra Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan and was produced by Rajan Shahi under the auspices of Director’s Kut Productions. It has Pranali Rathod and Harshad Chopda as the third generation as of October 2021. The musical game show Ravivaar With Star Parivaar saw Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai win.
Akshara and Naitik who come from similar sizable Udaipur-based Marwari joint families wed. They first have trouble understanding one another but with time they learn to respect and love one another. Their kid Naksh is due to arrive soon. Accidentally Naitik goes into a coma.
The majority of the series’ filming takes place in Mumbai’s Film City at Goregaon. Some scenes were filmed in Rajasthan’s Udaipur because that city is where the story takes place. At Wai a scene was filmed in December 2013. Additionally Rishikesh was the location for scenes shot in March 2018 and 2016. The wedding video for Kartik and Naira was filmed in Rajasthan’s Bikaner in March 2017.
The show was also filmed in several other countries such as Bangkok in 2014 Cape Town in 2015 Hong Kong in 2015 Switzerland in 2016 and Greece in 2017.
The soundtrack for Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai was written by Navin and Manish Tripathi. Manish Tripathi wrote the lyrics. Navin Tripathi and Alka Yagnik performed the song Haan Koi Chori Chori which is the album’s title tune.
Balika Vadhu 2 (2021-2022)
An Indian dramatic television series called Balika Vadhu 2 ran on Colors TV from August 9 2021 to February 25 2022 then on Voot from February 28 2022 to March 29 2022. It is a revival of the venerable program Balika Vadhu. It is made by Sphere Origins and stars Samridh Bawa Randeep Rai and Shivangi Joshi.
There are two segments to the show. Balika Vadhu – Kachchee Umar ke Pakke Rishte is the name of the first section (Strong Relationship at a Young Age). Balika Vadhu – Anandi Ka Naya Safar (Anandi’s New Journey) is the name of the second section.
Khatron ke khiladi season 12 (2022)
Khatron Ke Khiladi Bach Ke Kahan Jayega: Fear Factor? Aayega Khatra Kahin Se Bhi! is the 12th season of Endemol Shine India’s Indian reality and stunt television program Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi. The program debuted on Colors TV and was available for digital streaming on Voot from July 2 until September 25 2022.
The program which was hosted by Rohit Shetty was filmed in Cape Town South Africa. With almost 26 episodes this season broke the record for the longest season since the show’s inception. This season’s champion was Tushar Kalia with Faisal Shaikh finishing as the first runner-up.
