Career

Sharvari Wagh who had always wanted to be an actress received the full backing of her family and launched her modeling career at the young age of 16. She participated in the Clean & Clear Fresh Face Contest beauty competition in 2013 while modelling and she won first place. 

Sharvari Wagh worked in some television commercials after winning the competition and then she joined in Jeff Goldberg Studio to master the intricacies of acting where she completed a 9-month acting training.

Throughout her acting training, she used to go to theatre workshops every weekend to hone her acting abilities. Few people are aware that Sharvari served as an assistant director on the Bollywood movies Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety Bajirao Mastani and Pyar Ka Punchnama 2. 

She had the opportunity to collaborate closely with Ranveer Singh while filming the Bollywood movie Bajirao Mastani which led her to develop a love for his performance. She later stated in an interview that one day she hopes to work on a movie with Ranveer Singh.

Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 (2015)

The 2015 Indian romantic comedy movie Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 is a follow-up to the 2011 film Pyaar Ka Punchnama. Luv Ranjan is in charge of directing the follow-up which is made by Panorama Studios Production and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. The movie stars Sonnalli Seygall Kartik Aaryan Omkar Kapoor Sunny Singh Nushrat Bharucha and Ishita Raj Sharma. The movie premiered on October 16, 2015.

Bajirao Mastani (2015)

Sharvari Wagh debuted as assistant director in this movie. The brave Peshwa Bajirao who is married to Kashibai has feelings for Mastani a princess warrior who is in need of help. They fight against the conservative family’s objections in order to make their love triumph.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali is the director of the 2015 Indian epic historical romance film Bajirao Mastani. He also co-produced the movie alongside Eros International and wrote the soundtrack. In addition to Tanvi Azmi Vaibhav Tatwawaadi Milind Soman Mahesh Manjrekar and Priyanka Chopra, the movie also stars Ranveer Singh Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra in supporting parts.

Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018)

Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety also known as Sonu’s Titu’s Sweety is a 2018 Indian comedy film that was written and directed by Luv Ranjan. T-Series and Luv Films jointly co-produced it. Sharvari Wagh was the assistant director of this movie.

The movie’s editing was done by Akiv Ali and it was distributed by T-Series Amazon Prime Video and AA Films. Kartik Aaryan Nushrat Bharucha and Sunny Singh play the key characters of Sonu Sweety and Titu in Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety respectively.

The friendship between Titu and Sonu who were childhood friends is put to the test when Titu decides to marry Sweety who is not only after his money but also determined to sever their relationship.

The Forgotten Army – Azaadi Ke Liye (2020)

Based on actual events The Forgotten Army – Azaadi Ke Liye tells the tale of Indian soldiers who marched on the capital while shouting Challo Dilli in an effort to free India from colonial authority. Subhash Chandra Bose served as the commander of the Indian National Army (INA) which was formed from Indian soldiers who had deserted to the Empire of Japan during World War II. Sharvari Wagh was the assistant director of this movie.

The INA featured the first women’s infantry battalion since the Russian units of 1917–18. The battle and tale of these soldiers—men and women—who fought valiantly to win India’s independence somehow went lost and they were dubbed the forgotten army.

The series which centers on the love affair between two soldiers named Sodhi and Maya tackles various issues including identity independence the concept of the motherland and the price of freedom.
