Shaan's Biography
Shantanu Mukherjee is an Indian dubbing singer, composer, live performer, actor and television personality. He has recorded songs for films and albums in several Indian languages and is one of the highest paid and most renowned dubbing singers in the Indian film industry.
Shaan is one of the few Indian singers who has collaborated with international artists. Shaan collaborated with Blue on the song “One Love”, sang the theme song (Shuruaat) of the movie “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” and later collaborated with Michael Learns to Rock on the album “Tishnagi”.
Shaan also wrote six of the album's nine tracks and composed most of the songs, except for Take Me To Your Heart, a collaboration with Michael Learns to Rock. The video for this song was also well received.

Shaan started his career singing commercial jingles. After a short break, he returned to singing jingles and remixes. In 1999, he wrote the lyrics for the ballad “Bhool Ja” for the album Tanha Dil, which topped the charts within days of its release and became a radio hit. In 2000, he shot to fame with Tanha Dil Tanha Safar. The song was also featured in his sister's 2001 album Mere Liye.
Apart from singing on his own albums, Shaan has also dubbed for several leading actors in Bollywood.
