Apu’s Trilogy also known as Apu’s World is a 1959 Bengali drama film produced, written, and directed by Satyajit Ray. The film is based on the second half of Bibhutibhushan Bandopadhyay’s novel Aparajito. Apu’s World is the third and final part of Ray’s Apu Trilogy, which also includes Aparajito (1955) and Aparajito (1956).
