Saurav Gurjar is an Indian professional wrestler and actor. He was born on 26 September 1985 in India. He is currently signed to WWE and performs under the ring name Sanga on the Raw brand as a member of Indus Sher along with Veer Mahaan and Jinder Mahal. Gurjar was born on September 26, 1985, and his ancestral home is Dabra Town in Madhya Pradesh, India. Many years ago, he participated in the national taekwondo competition and won the gold medal.

Professional wrestling career

In December 2011, he joined the Indian project Ring Ka King, hosted by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. During this time, he wrestled under the ring name Deadly Danda. He joined the heel group RDX, managed by Jeff Jarrett, along with Abyss, Scott Steiner, Nick Aldis and Sonjay Dutt. On January 14, 2018, Gurjar signed with WWE as an employee. Gurjar made his television debut as a competitor in the Worlds Collide men’s division. On the March 25, 2020 episode of NXT, Gurjar and Rinku Singh attacked Matt Riddle, and it looked like Malcolm Bivens was their manager. The following week, Bivens revealed their team name as Indus Sher and introduced them as Rinku and Saurav. Indus Sher stopped appearing on television in June after Gurjar posted a photo on Instagram of Keith Lee holding the NXT Championship and NXT North American Championship at NXT’s The Great American Bash (2020), which he won and retained respectively, but the event had not yet aired when the photo was uploaded.

On the January 18, 2022 episode of NXT, Saurav, now performing under the ring name Sanga, was repackaged as Grayson Waller’s bodyguard. Waller, on the other hand, fired Sanga on the April 12 episode of NXT, and the following week, Sanga was defeated by Waller in a singles match. Sanga reunited with Indus Sher in October with former Rinku Veer Mahaan, who had just returned to NXT at the time. When the WWE draft took place in 2023, both Sanga and Indus Sher were selected to compete on the Raw brand. This led to Sanga’s promotion to the main roster. On May 15, Sanga made his Raw debut along with Veer, where they competed in a tag team match against local talents Drake Thompson and Lavar Barbie and won.

In 2013, Gurjar made his first appearance on television, which marked the beginning of his acting career. His first appearance on television was in an episode of Mahabharata, in which he played the role of Bhim. The show aired on Star Plus from 2013 to 2014, for a total of two years. After that, he acted in Sankatmochan Mahabali Hanuman from 2016 to 2017, playing the roles of Ravan and Bali. His first film Brahmastra was released in 2022, marking the beginning of his career in the film industry.
