She has also hosted and presented many award shows and TV series. She co-hosted the show Nach Baliye with Shabbir Ahluwalia and performed various dances. She is also best known for her role as Pishachini in Divya Drishti.

After Daraar, she acted in Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand as Pammi. In 2006, she played Priyanka Kharbanda / Priyanka Rahul Lamba in the popular TV show Viraasat.

In 2010, she was also the captain of the women’s team of the reality dance competition Zara Nachke Dikha 2. After six years in Viraasat, Ghosh made her comeback in daily serials on 15 August 2013, playing the role of Sanchi in the TV series Kehta Hai Dil Jee Le Zara, opposite actor Ruslaan Mumtaz. The show was praised for its innovative and original concept, and Sangita received widespread praise for her chemistry with Mumtaz. She then appeared in the second season of the daily soap Parvarrish. She also played the villain Sudha in the Star Plus thriller Rishton Ka Chakravyuh. In February 2019, she played the villain Sachini in the TV show Divya Drishti. Her portrayal of Sachini received widespread praise and the show became a commercial success. The show concluded its one-year run in February 2020.
