Rajkumar Hirani, also known as Raju Hirani, is an Indian filmmaker, director, producer and editor, best known for his work in Hindi films. On Sunday afternoon, Huffington Post India reported that Indian cinema’s greatest director Rajkumar Hirani has been accused of sexual assault, sparking Bollywood’s biggest #MeToo scandal.
The complainant is a woman who worked on the post-production of the Sanjay Dutt biopic between March and September last year. The allegations surfaced after the victim detailed the abuse she suffered in an email to Sanjay co-producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra in November last year.
