Pooja Sharma is a charming face on television today, known for her stunning beauty and admirable voice. The 27-year-old model-turned-actress has always had a passion for acting and is best known for her role as ‘Draupadi’ in Star Plus’ popular mythological TV series Mahabharata.
While still in college, she was selected for a talk show on Doordarshan and eventually she auditioned for the position of a ZoomTV host. After hosting the show, she turned to modeling and became one of the top ten finalists of the Miss India 2006 pageant. The Delhi native made his acting debut in the Star Plus series “Teri Meri’s Love Story” opposite Karan Kundra.
But it wasn’t until she landed the lead role in “Draupadi” that she got her big break. Eventually, she gained the well-deserved fame and won the award at the 2014 Star Parivaar Awards.
