Eventually, she got engaged to Diwakar, but Diwakar dumped her on the wedding day and later married Thapki’s sister Aditi. Thapki is known for her unique voice when she speaks, so people affectionately call her Thapki.
Yevadaraha
The Indian television series Yeh Vaada Raha aired on Zee TV from September 21, 2015 to January 20, 2017. The show tells the story of the protagonists Kartik and Suvi, who were once in their past lives and then reborn as Kartik and Suvi in the present.
The first season of the show centered on the love story between Sovi, played by Sonal Vengelekar, and Kartik, played by Ankush Arora. However, after Sovi’s death, the show skipped eight years, when seven-year-old Khushi (played by Sonal Vengelekar) grew up and married Abir, who served as the new male lead of the show, played by Zain Imam. This foreshadowed a change in the plot.
After the leap, the focus of the story is the love story of Khushi and Abeer Dharmadhikari. The series explores their relationship and the difficulties they face during their journey. When Yeh Vaada Raha finally ended, Woh Apna Sa took its place.

Initially, the series focused on the love story between Survi, played by Sonal Vengurlekar, and Karthik, played by Ankush Arora. However, after Survi’s death, the storyline took an eight-year leap. During this time, Survi and Karthik’s daughter Khushi, played by Sonal Vengurlekar, grew up to be seven years old. In the subsequent storyline, the grown-up Khushi married Abeer, played by Zain Imam, who became the new male lead of the show. This shift in the plot brought a new perspective to the narrative.
The series mainly revolves around the love story between Khushi and Abeer Dharmadhikari. The show explores their relationship and the various challenges they face in their journey together. Yeh Vaada Raha eventually ended its airing and was replaced by Woh Apna Sa.
