Malik Yoba is an American actor and singer. He is known for starring in the police dramas New York Undercover (1994) and The Run (1993). He also starred as Vernon Turner in the TV series Alphas (2011), Revolution (TV), and Empire (TV, 2015).

In 2016, he played FBI Deputy Director Jason Atwood in the political drama “Designated Survivor” (TV series). In May 1997, he served as the guest host of the popular weekly music program Soul Train. After that, he joined the Netflix crime drama Seven Seconds in 2018.
