Yvonne Chaka Chaka wants to continue her studies
“I went back to school because I sat on a lot of different boards, and some of them were international. If you go there and you don't have knowledge, it becomes a mission, and that's what inspired me to practice management and leadership. But it sucks. Academic writing is not easy, but I'm glad I did it.”
“I was considering it. With my honors degree, I felt ready and decided to pursue it, to take on the challenge. It wasn't easy, but I did it. As an adult, the flexibility of different schedules and groups helps a lot.
“However, this master's degree takes 24 months because it is from the University of Reading, which is part of Henley, a British university. You can study here, but some classes require travel to the UK. I need to decide if I really want to commit. Honours degrees are stressful, and while people say masters degrees are a bit easier, I'm still not sure.”
