Interesting Facts
David Dhawan’s parents named him Rajinder. However, his Catholic neighbors used to call him David, and eventually his parents asked him to officially change his name to David.
Initially, Dhawan had no intention of joining the film industry, but when his elder brother Anil enrolled for an acting course at FTII, he also wanted to give it a try. Hence, Dhawan enrolled in the same course and institute.
After a few months there, he realized that acting wasn’t for him, so he dropped out of the course and took an editing course instead.
