Ajit Taneja was born on November 10, 1992. He is an Indian television actor and model, known for his roles in many reality shows and television programs. Taneja was born into a Punjabi family and attended Modern School, Delhi. He graduated from Delhi University with a bachelor’s degree in computer programming. In 2010, he joined Elite Model Management India Pvt. Ltd. and started his modeling career.

In 2012, Taneja moved to Mumbai to pursue his acting career and made his television debut in V The Serial, produced by Ekta Kapoor, on the Indian channel V. In 2013, he gained more exposure by participating in the reality shows MTV Splitsvilla 6 on MTV India and Box Cricket League on Sony TV. In 2008, he made his acting debut in Ekta Kapoor’s Bade Achhe Lagte Hain.

Ajit then played the male lead in Colours TV’s Bahu Begum, a drama based on a love triangle that premiered in July 2019. He played the role of Azaan Akhtar Mirza, the Nawab of Bhopal, along with co-stars Samiksha Jaiswal and Diana Khan. The show concluded in January 2020.

Taneja played the angel Farishta in the supernatural revenge thriller Naagin 5 and reprised the role in Kuch Toh Hai: Naagin Ek Naye Rang Mein in 2021. He then played the lead role of Shambhu Thakur in the Dangal TV drama Nath – Zewar Ya Zanjeer in August 2021.
