Debut Film- Jalwa (1987)
Jalwa an action movie which was created and directed by Gul Anand in 1987 is in the Hindi language. The title characters in the movie are played by Naseeruddin Shah and Archana Puran Singh. The majority of the film was shot in Goa where the story is situated. The movie was recreated with Chiranjeevi in Telugu as Trinetrudu. The lyrics were written by Sameer and the music was created by Anand-Milind & Remo Fernandes.

Raja Hindustani (1996)
Raja Hindustani is a 1996 romantic drama movie in Hindi made by Dharmesh Darshan. The narrative centers on a taxi driver from a small town who develops feelings for a wealthy young lady. The lead actors are Karisma Kapoor and Aamir Khan. The narrative of the 1996 movie which debuted on November 15th was based on the Shashi Kapoor and Nanda-starring 1965 classic Jab Jab Phool Khile.
The music for the movie was written by Nadeem-Shravan and Sameer wrote the lyrics. It later went on to take home five Filmfare Awards including those for Best Film and Best Actors and seven Screen Awards.

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998)
Karan Johar wrote and directed the 1998 Indian Hindi-language musical romance film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai popularly known as KKHH or K2H2. It was produced by Dharma Productions. Along with Rani Mukerji and Salman Khan it has Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol a well-known on-screen duo in the key roles.
Sana Saeed plays a supporting role as well. Two love triangles that occurred years apart are combined in the plot. The second half of the book relates the tale of a young widower’s daughter who wants to reconnect her father with his former best friend. The first half of the book is about friends on a college campus.
This was Johar’s first film as a filmmaker and it was shot in Scotland India and Mauritius. Setting a new standard for style in Hindi film was one of his objectives for the picture. The soundtrack which was the year’s top sale was written by Jatin-Lalit. On October 16 1998 Kuch Kuch Hota Hai was released in India and the United Kingdom.
The film was well-reviewed by critics who commended the location music directing photography storyline performances and general presentation. The movie was a hit both domestically and internationally becoming the third-highest-grossing Indian movie at the time and the highest-grossing Indian movie of the year. The movie has the biggest foreign box office earnings of any Hindi film up to Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham Karan Johar’s subsequent release.
Mohabbetein (2000)
Aditya Chopra wrote and directed the romantic drama movie Mohabbatein which was released in 2000 and was produced by Yash Chopra of Yash Raj Films. Amitabh Bachchan Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai are among the actors who appear in the movie along with newcomers Uday Chopra Shamita Shetty Jugal Hansraj Kim Sharma Jimmy Sheirgill and Preeti Jhangiani.
It tells the tale of Narayan the stern principal of Gurukul College whose daughter Megha commits suicide as a result of his opposition to her relationship with Raj the college’s music instructor. The plot centers on Raj helping three Gurukul students rebel against Narayan’s hatred of romantic love.
The movie was supposed to be Aditya Chopra’s directorial debut but after Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge it became his second movie (1995). Themes from the 1989 American coming-of-age drama Dead Poets Society served as inspiration for it.
Manmohan Singh oversaw the principle photography of Mohabbatein which was shot in the United Kingdom and had a production budget of more than 100 million (US$1.3 million) between October 1999 and July 2000. The outfits were created by Karan Johar while the sets were constructed by Sharmishta Roy. Anand Bakshi wrote the words while the music was created by the Jatin-Lalit combo.
When Mohabbatein debuted on October 27 2000 it was widely praised by critics with Bachchan and Khan’s performances receiving the greatest attention. The movie was hailed as a great commercial success and became the highest-grossing Indian movie of the year with a total gross of 900.1 million (US$11 million).

Indra Kumar’s 2004 Hindi language is an adult comedy called Masti starring Vivek Oberoi Riteish Deshmukh Aftab Shivdasani Lara Dutta Amrita Rao Tara Sharma Genelia D’Souza and Ajay Devgn was released in India. The movie which was released in 2004 did well at the box office and was well-received by critics. It is the first movie in the Masti series. The film’s sequels Grand Masti (2013) and Great Grand Masti were also released (2016).
Krrish (2006)
Rakesh Roshan is the director and producer of the 2006 superhero movie Krrish which was made in Hindi. It features Naseeruddin Shah Rekha Manini Mishra Archana Puran Singh and Sharat Saxena in supporting parts in addition to Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra in the lead roles. The sequel to Koi… Mil Gaya it is the second entry in the Krrish series and tells the tale of Krishna the hero’s son who gains access to his father’s superhuman skills.
He pursues Priya to Singapore after falling in love with her and adopts the alias Krrish to conceal his identity while rescuing kids from a burning circus. He becomes a superhero from that point forward and must later foil the schemes of the villainous Dr. Arya.
Since then he has gained a reputation as a superhero and must foil the villainous Dr. Arya’s schemes since he is connected to Krishna’s father Rohit the main character of the previous movie.
With visual effects on par with those from Hollywood Krrish was intended to be a movie of worldwide significance and a trendsetter in Indian cinema. Tony Ching a specialist in Chinese martial arts films choreographed the stunts and Hollywood’s Marc Kolbe and Craig Mumma assisted the effects crew in achieving this goal. Salim-Sulaiman composed the background score and Rajesh Roshan wrote the song.
On June 23 2006 Krrish was released in every country with a budget of 40 crores and 1000 prints both almost record for an Indian movie at the time. Indian critics gave Krrish high marks and it had a record-breaking first week at the box office. Krrish a hit movie earned 126 crores in total worldwide box office receipts ranking third among Indian movies in 2006.
Bol Bachchan (2012)
Bol Bachchan is a 2012 Indian action comedy film in the Hindi language that was produced by Ajay Devgn and Dhillin Mehta under the banners of Ajay Devgn FFilms and Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Limited respectively. Fox Star Studios served as the film’s distributor and presenter. It was directed by Rohit Shetty. It is loosely based on the 1979 Hrishikesh Mukherjee classic Gol Maal and stars Abhishek Bachchan as the title character along with Ajay Devgn Asin Prachi Desai Krushna Abhishek Neeraj Vora and Archana Puran Singh. The script was written by Yunus Sajwal and Farhad-Sajid and the story was written by Shetty.
The soundtrack for the movie was written by Himesh Reshammiya with a dance number’s guest composition by Ajay-Atul and the score by Amar Mohile.
Bol Bachchan set a new record for advance ticket sales when it was released in theatres on July 6 2012. Bol Bachchan a critical and economic hit that grossed over 1 billion (US$13 million) net from home markets and more than 235 crores (US$29 million) globally was remade in Telugu as Masala in 2013.
