Anita started her acting career in the year 2000 with the Hindi film Kucch To Hai. However she rose to prominence with her role in the popular Indian soap opera Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.
She went on to appear in several other TV shows such as Kahiin To Hoga Kabhii Sautan Kabhii Sahelii and Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. Anita is well known for her good looks and acting skills and has a large fan following on social media platforms.

The actress is married to entrepreneur Rohit Reddy. Rohit and Anita used to go to the same gym and it was Anita’s Indian appearance that drew Rohit’s attention there. Later they ran into each other outside a pub where Anita was waiting for her car. Rohit approached her and continued his efforts by following her on Facebook.
Following this they reconnected through a mutual friend. After just a few dates they both realized they were in love with each other. After dating for over two years the couple decided to marry. On October 14 2013 they married in Goa in the traditional south Indian style surrounded by close family and friends.

Idhar Udhar is a 1985 Hindi sitcom that debuted on Doordarshan. Anand Mahendroo directed it and Shobha Doctor produced it. It starred Ratna Pathak and Supriya Pathak who are real-life sisters. Its first season was cancelled after 12 episodes.
Due to the success of Dekh Bhai Dekh Anand Mahendroo launched a sequel to the series under the banner of Advance Entertainment Network Ltd. in December 1997 with the original cast of both Pathak sisters and Liliput as well as Bhavana Balsavar. Season 1 focuses on the problems and joys of living in the same house. Sunita Poonam Sudhir Katie and their children are featured in Season 2.

Kohi Apna Sa is a television drama series in Hindi. Shruti Khushi and Sanjana are best friends and they all marry from the same family. The show began with high ratings on Zee TV and quickly became one of the most-watched channels but it began to lose viewers and was cancelled in January 2003. It aired Monday through Friday from 15 October 2001 to 20 September 2002 and then Monday through Thursday from 23 September 2002 to 15 January 2003.
Kasautii Zindagii Kay
Kasautii Zindagii Kay is an Indian Hindi-language television series on Star Plus produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms. The show starred Shweta Tiwari and Cezzane Khan who was later replaced by Hiten Tejwani Ronit Roy and Urvashi Dholakia who played Prerna Sharma Anurag Basu Rishabh Bajaj and Komolika Majumdar respectively. The show aired from October 29 2001 to February 28 2008.
The entire series is available digitally on Disney+ Hotstar. The show was one of Star Plus’s longest-running television shows. The story of Anurag and Prerna two star-crossed lovers was explored in the show. Their love and life at various stages as well as the lives of their children and grandchildren.
Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii
Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii is a Hindi-language Indian soap opera that aired on Star Plus from October 16 2000 to October 9 2008. Ekta Kapoor created the soap opera which was produced by her production company Balaji Telefilms and starred Sakshi Tanwar and Kiran Karmarkar. The show delves into the lives of Parvati and Om Agarwal who live in a Marwadi joint family where Parvati is the ideal daughter-in-law and Om is the ideal son.
The plot revolves around Vishwanath Agarwal’s sons and their children. The show also featured Ali Asgar who played Kamal Agarwal and Anup Soni who played Suyash Mehra as major supporting cast members.
Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi
Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi is an Indian Hindi-language soap opera that aired on Star Plus from July 4 2000 to November 7 2008. Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor co-produced the show under their Balaji Telefilms banner. The plot revolved around an ideal daughter-in-law a pandit’s daughter married to the grandson of wealthy businessman Govardhan Virani.
Smriti Irani played the role of Tulsi Virani. The series is set in Mumbai and follows the wealthy Gujarati Virani family where the three daughters-in-law Savita Daksha and Gayatri control the entire family and cause problems for their wise and kind-hearted mother-in-law Amba.
Yeh Hai Mohabbatein
Yeh Hai Mohabbatein was an Indian romantic drama television series that aired on Star Plus from December 3 2013 to December 18 2019. It was directed by Ekta Kapoor and starred Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel as Ishita Iyer and Raman Bhalla. The plot was inspired by Manju Kapur’s 2011 novel Custody.
The show is set in Delhi and revolves around two neighbours Tamil dentist Dr. Ishita Iyer and Punjabi CEO Raman Kumar Bhalla who dislike each other but are brought together by destiny and their mutual love for Ruhi Raman’s daughter from his ex-wife Shagun. Raman and Ishita’s marriage blossoms into true love and both of them gain lifelong companionship.

Subhash Ghai co-wrote edited produced and directed the 1999 Indian Hindi musical romantic drama film Taal. Aishwarya Rai Akshaye Khanna and Anil Kapoor star in the lead roles with Amrish Puri and Alok Nath appearing in supporting roles. It was also known as Thaalam in Tamil. Taal premiered at the Chicago International Film Festival was an official selection at Roger Ebert’s Film Festival in 2005 and was shown retrospectively at the 45th IFFI in the section Celebrating Dance in Indian Cinema.

Kucch To Hai is a 2003 Indian Hindi-language slasher film directed by Anurag Basu and written by Rajeev Jhaveri. Tusshar Kapoor Esha Deol Anita Hassanandani Yash Tonk Rishi Kapoor Jeetendra and Moonmoon Sen star in the film. Balaji Motion Pictures was in charge of the production. It is an unofficial remake of the Hollywood slasher film I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997) and was inspired by the Scream series.
It was inspired by an Urban Legend (1998). Karan (Tushar Kapoor) and Natasha (Anita Hassanandani) grew up together. Natasha has always secretly loved Karan and wished to marry him. Karan on the other hand falls for Tanya (Esha Deol) the new college admission.
Koi Aap Sa
Partho Mitra directed the 2005 Indian Hindi romance film Koi Aap Sa. It features pivotal performances by Aftab Shivdasani Dipannita Sharma and Anita Hassanandani. It came out on October 14 2005. Rohan and Simi were childhood pals. Simi assists Rohan in getting closer to a girl from college named Preeti. Preeti on the other hand feels awkward insecure and jealous because she believes Rohan and Simi’s friendship is interfering with their relationship.

Ragini MMS 2 is a 2014 Indian erotic horror thriller film directed by Bhushan Patel and co-produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and ALT Entertainment’s Jayasinh Gupta and Sunil Maurya Pradhaan. The film is a sequel to the 2011 horror film Ragini MMS. Sunny Leone and Saahil Prem star in Ragini MMS 2 which continues the plot from the prequel.
