Pragya marries rock star Abhishek “Abhi” Mehra and Bulbul marries Abhi’s friend Purab. Bulbul sadly dies. Abhi and Pragya’s marriage continues to be fraught with hardship. Abhi blames Pragya for his grandmother’s death and the two separate.

The show became one of the top five most watched shows in all GECs. Just a few weeks later, it was hailed as the most popular fiction series debut in 2014. The show was extremely popular among Indian women. The show also competed with Diya Aur Baati Hum, the long-time leader in Hindi GECs, which aired on Star Plus at the same time.

The drama is often criticized for its repetitive plots, strange plots, and illogicality. The creators of the drama have received a lot of criticism on social media for portraying unique dramatic bigamy and violating laws and regulations in the drama.

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 is the tenth season of the Indian reality and dance television series Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, produced by BBC Worldwide Productions.
