• Sonu Nigam made his stage debut at the young age of four! He sang Kya Hua Tera Wada his debut song live with his father.
• Sonu is an expert in local tongues. With crystal-clear enunciation he can sing in Hindi Bengali Oriya Kannada Punjabi Tamil Telugu English Bhojpuri Urdu Nepali and Marathi.
• Sonu Nigam was a singer to sing Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh from 1942 Love Story according to RD Burman. The song was supposed to be recorded by Kumar Sanu but the singer was significantly late angering producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra.
