From 2012, he set up his own production company and produced films like Premsutra in Marathi and Dombivli Returns in Hindi and Marathi (bilingual), which screened at many national and international film festivals and he was named the best actor at the 2020 Indian Critics’ Choice Awards. His Hotstar web series City of Dreams, directed by Nagesh Kukunoor, has a huge global audience and its second season is set to premiere soon.
