Anuraga Karikkin Vellam is a 2016 Indian Malayalam romantic comedy film directed by Khalid Rahman. It was produced by Shaji Nadesan Prithviraj Sukumaran Santhosh Sivan and Arya under August Cinema. Asha Sharath Rajisha Vijayan Asif Ali and Biju Menon play the lead roles. The story was written by Naveen Bhaskar and focuses on the relationship between common man Raghu and his son Abhilash. Tamil debut – Karnan (2021)

Karnan is a 2021 Indian Tamil action-drama film produced and directed by Kalaipuli S. Thanu. The film stars Rajisha Vijayan Lal Yogi Babu Natarajan Subramaniam and Dhanush. Theni Eswar handled the cinematography, Santhosh Narayanan composed the music, and Selva RK edited the film. The 1995 Kodiyankulam caste violence was the inspiration for this film. In this film, the protagonist Karnan, who comes from a conservative family, fights for the rights of his people.

The film went on floors in January 2020 under the working title Karnan after a short and long preparation period. Most of the film’s scenes were shot in the rural Thoothukudi district. After the film’s release, the production was completed in December 2020, despite the COVID-19 pandemic delaying the production.
