Youth and Early Career

Nongdamba Naoreem is a member of Minerva Punjab youth team and was born in Wabagai, Manipur. Nongdamba Naoreem was selected to represent India on loan from Minerva Punjab to Indian Arrows, a team owned by the All India Football Federation and comprised of under-20 players, following the FIFA U-17 World Cup. He made his professional debut for the Arrows in their season opener against Chennai City FC.

He replaced Edmund Lalindika in the 86th minute as Indian Arrows won 3–0. A month later, on December 26, Naorem scored his first professional goal against Shillong Lajung. Nongdamba Naorem received the ball on the wing and then broke through three Shillong Lajung defenders to enter the penalty area. After evading another defender, he shot the ball into the goalkeeper's net as Indian Arrows won 3–0.

Kerala Blasters

In 2018, Nongdamba Naorem signed a three-year contract with Kerala Blasters. He later joined the Blasters reserve team that competes in the Indian League Second Division. After making 6 appearances for Mohun Bagan, he was loaned to the team to get some playing time.

Mohun Bagan

One of the key players in Mohun Bagan's I-League title triumph under Kibu Vicuna was Naorem. He made 16 appearances for the Mariners and contributed two important goals. The deal was completed with the transfer of Subha Ghosh from ATK Mohun Bagan.

Return to the Blaster Team
