Nejam, also known as Deborah Samantha, is a talented Indian model and rapper. She was born in 2000 in Chennai and is currently 23 years old as of 2023. Nejam studied in a school in Delhi before pursuing a degree in English Literature at Madras Christian College in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. During her first year of college, she showcased her talent by participating in the 2019 New Face of the Times competition. In 2023, Nejam rose to fame by debuting as a contestant on the popular youth reality show MTV Roadies Karm Ya Kaand. Her participation in the show further cemented her place in the entertainment industry.

In the same year, she released a single titled “I’m Trouble” in collaboration with Indian musician Deveshwaar. Later, she started competing with other underground rappers in Chennai in Porkalam. She has performed at various events and live shows in Chennai. Some of her popular raps include Wachuwant and Fatal. Nejm has also worked as a model. She has appeared in print photo shoots for various clothing brands such as Mokshaa, Chennai.

In 2020, she performed on the finale stage of Bigg Boss 4 (Tamil). In 2023, she auditioned for the youth-focused reality TV show MTV Roadies Karm Ya Kaand and was selected to join Gautam Gulati’s gang.
