Namik Paul was born on 19 September 1987 in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. He completed his schooling from Woodstock School in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand. After that, he went on to further his studies and graduated from Lewis and Clark College in Oregon. Namik initially started his career as a reporter at NDTV 24×7. However, due to the erratic working hours, he decided to quit the job and subsequently shifted his focus to acting.
