Ajeeb Dastaan Hain Yeh

Play

Shankar Jaikishan created a song that was both peaceful and upbeat. The song is from a 1960 black-and-white film starring Raaj Kumar and Meena Kumari. RD Burman’s music is as eclectic and upbeat as usual.

There is also an excellent use of the accordion and an ethereal chorus of women. Hothon Main Aisi Baat

As the camera follows Vyjayanthimala in Honthon Mein Aisi Baat (brilliantly choreographed by Master Sohanlal) he employs circular tracks and dynamic angles. Music was provided by S D Burman who was assisted by his son R D Burman who had become an independent Music Director by that time and was providing music for Teesri Manzil side by side.

Bhupinder sings the opening refrain Hooooo for Dev and says O Shalu in the middle of the song. That was his entire contribution to the song.

Aaj Phir Jeene Ki Tamanna
