Karan Adani’s Biography

Karan Adani is the eldest son of billionaire Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani. He has been the CEO of Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Limited (APSEZ) since 2016. Karan oversees the strategic development of Adani Ports across India and has been managing the company’s various port operations since 2009.

Karan Adani was appointed as a non-executive director of Ambuja Cement and non-executive chairman of ACC in September 2022. Karan succeeds the old guard of the Indian conglomerate, including the late Nani Palkhivala and the late Pallonji Mistry.
