At the age of 15  Jennifer Winget had her acting debut in the 2000 film Raja Ko Rani Se Pyar Ho Gaya and at the age of 18 she played a supporting role in the Indian film Kuch Naa Kaho. Jennifer Winget’s big break as a leading lady in television came with the program Karthika where she portrayed a struggling singer with big-time aspirations. Jennifer Winget took up Shilpa Anand’s role as Riddhima Gupta in the 2009 season of Dill Mill Gayye. Jennifer Winget played Kumud Desai alongside Gautam Rode in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s television series Saraswatichandra in 2013. She received the Indian Television Academy Award for Best Actress Critics for her performance. Jennifer Winget portrayed Maya Mehrotra in the 2016 season of Beyhadh on Sony TV. Jennifer Winget received several accolades and awards for her performance. She co-starred with Harshad Chopda in the 2018 episode of Colors TV’s Bepannaah as Zoya Siddiqui. Shaka Laka Boom Boom (2002)

The first season centers on the main character, Sanju, discovering a magical pencil that has the power to make everything it draws come to life. Shaan, an alien, and his adventures with the supernatural pencil are the focus of the second season. Sanju and Shaan’s experiences at Jadoo High, a magic school, are the subject of the third season, and in the fourth season, Sanju goes to the year 2022 to save his family.

Indian television program Shaka Laka Boom Boom is one example. Vijay Krishna Acharya wrote the script and oversaw the production. Markets also saw the introduction of merchandise based on the series.

On the DD National channel, it debuted as a 30-episode television series on October 15, 2000. Star Plus later picked it up, and on August 19, 2002, their version, starring Kinshuk Vaidya as Sanju, made its debut. The show was also rebroadcast on Star Utsav, Disney Channel India, STAR One, Disney XD, Hungama TV, and Vijay TV in a Tamil dub.

Dill Mill Gayye (2007)

In Dill Mill Gayye, Jennifer Winget portrayed the character of Dr. Riddhima Gupta, taking over from Shilpa Anand who played the character in the beginning parts of the series.

Dill Mill Gayye is an Indian medical drama television series that aired on Star One from August 20, 2007, to October 29, 2010. The show is a sequel to the Star Plus series, Sanjivani – A Medical Boon.

The series primarily focuses on the new generation of medical interns, with each character undergoing various changes. The two main characters Dr. Armaan Malik (played by Karan Singh Grover) and Dr. Riddhima Gupta (originally portrayed by Shilpa Anand, and later by Jennifer Winget)  were incredibly popular. Saraswatichandra (2013)

Saraswatichandra is an Indian soap opera that aired on Star Plus from February 25, 2013, to September 20, 2014. It was produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and written by Ved Raj and Abhijit Sinha.

The show is an adaptation of the famous Gujarati novel, “Saraswatichandra”, written by Govardhanram Tripathi. The series tells the story of Saraswatichandra Vyas (Saras) and Kumud Sundari. The show depicts their journey of love, sacrifices, and the divine bond of marriage.

Jennifer Winget played the role of the female lead, Kumud Sundari. Kumud is a simple, beautiful, and values-driven woman from a Gujarati Brahmin family. She is adored by everyone in her family for her respectful nature, lovely spirit and strong-willed personality. Kumud falls in love with Saraswatichandra and their journey forms the core of the series.

She’s been tasked to investigate a military encounter which results in a few deaths and has stirred up the media. As she starts digging into the details of the case, she uncovers a conspiracy which is far larger than what it initially appeared to be.

Jennifer Winget portrayed the lead role of Major Monica Mehra, a military lawyer. Major Monica Mehra is brought back to investigate a controversial encounter with terrorist suspects and discovers that there’s more than what meets the eye. The character is tough, smart, thorough, and does not back down from a challenge.

“Code M” marked Jennifer Winget’s digital debut. She boldly explored a new, unconventional character, once again proving her versatile talent. Her realistic portrayal of a military lawyer was lauded by both the audience and critics alike.
