Jackson Singh played an important role in the club’s academy team, which went on to win the All India Football Federation U-15 and U-16 youth league titles. Jackson was selected to play for Indian Arrows, a team owned by the All India Football Federation, consisting of Indian players under 20 on loan from Minerva Punjab, after the FIFA U-17 World Cup. He made his professional debut for the Arrows in their season opener against Chennai City. He fired the first shot for Indian Arrows, which won 3-0.

Domestic business

In October 2018, Kerala Blasters announced the signing of Jackson Singh. After joining the reserve team, he played 5 games for the team in the Indian League Second Division. After the season ended, he was loaned to Indian Arrows again to get some playing time.

On 12 December 2020, Blasters announced that they had extended Jackson Singh’s contract until the 2023 season. On 20 December, he scored his first goal for the Blasters and his first in the Indian Super League, coming on as a replacement for Rohit Kumar in injury time against East Bengal to tie the score at 1-1. On 27 December 2020, he was named Man of the Match after his impressive performance against Hyderabad, as Blasters won their first game of the season 2-0. On 20 January 2021, Jackson played at centre-back for the first time in his career in the southern derby against Bengaluru FC.

After being selected for the squad, Jackson Singh played in all three of the Blasters’ matches during the 2021 Durand Cup. On 19 November 2021, he played in the Blasters’ first league match of the 2021-22 season against ATK Mohun Bagan, a match the team lost 4–2. On 19 December, he assisted Álvaro Vázquez for the second goal in a 3–0 win over Mumbai City FC. On 2 January 2022, Jackson scored his first goal of the year against FC Goa, a match that ended in a thrilling 2–2 draw. He and Puitia formed a formidable midfield combination that propelled the Blasters into the championship round, where they lost to Hyderabad FC on penalties.

Jackson Singh extended his contract for three years on April 25, 2022, and will remain with the team until 2025.

Jackson Singh represented the Indian Under-17 national team at the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup in India. On October 9, 2017, he scored India’s first ever goal in the second match of the FIFA World Cup against Colombia. Jackson later played for the Indian Under-20 and Under-23 national teams.

After his breakthrough season with Kerala Blasters in the 2019-2021 season, Jackson Singh was included in the possible squad for India’s World Cup qualifier against Qatar, but he did not make the final squad.
