Inder Kumar died of cardiac arrest at his home in the four-bungalow community of Andheri in Mumbai on July 28, 2017. The incident took place around 12:30 am and he was officially declared dead at 4 am.
Indian actor Inder Kumar was born on August 26, 1973. He unfortunately passed away on July 28, 2017 at the age of 43. His zodiac sign was Virgo.
Inder Kumar attended St. Xavier’s High School and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Public School in Fort, Mumbai. He completed his graduation from there. In the early days of his career in the film industry, he was mentored and guided by film publicist Rajo Kalia, who introduced him to film producers. Rajo Kalia played a vital role in shaping Inder Kumar’s early career in the film industry.
Inder Kumar was married three times in his life. In 2003, the groom married his mentor Rajoo Kariya’s daughter Sonal Kariya as his first wife. However, the two separated after just five months of marriage when Sonal was pregnant with their first child, Khushi.
After that, he dated actress Isha Koppikar on and off for 11 years. Later, in 2009, he married Kamaljeet Kaur, but unfortunately, their marriage ended soon due to irreconcilable differences between the two. In 2013, he married Pallavi Sarraf, and the two had a daughter named Bhavana in early 2014.
Inder Kumar made his film debut in 1996 with the film Masoom. He has acted in more than 20 films in his 21-year career. He started out as a supporting actor in the 1990s and excelled in many notable films such as Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi (1996), Ghoonghat (1997), Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaaye (2000), Gaja Gamini (2000), Maa Tujhhe Salaam (2002) and Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge (2002). He also ventured into television with the 2002 Star Plus serial Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, in which he played the role of Mihir Virani opposite Smriti Irani.
Unfortunately, Inder Kumar’s career faced challenges when he fell from a helicopter while performing stunts on the sets of the film Maseeha in 2002 and fractured his spine. This resulted in him being bedridden for five years and affected his career.
In 2005, he attempted a comeback with the Bengali film Agnipat, which did not perform well at the box office. Despite several failures, he made a successful comeback in 2009 with the film Wanted, in which he played the role of Salman Khan’s friend, which became a hit.
PlayKyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi is a popular Indian Hindi soap opera that aired on Star Plus from July 3, 2000 to November 6, 2008. The show was jointly produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Telefilms.
The storyline revolves around an ideal daughter-in-law named Tulsi Virani, the daughter of a Pandit who marries the grandson of a wealthy business tycoon, Govardhan Virani. The character of Tulsi Virani was played by Smriti Irani. The show gained immense popularity during its run and became an essential part of Indian television drama.
CID is an Indian police procedural television series produced by BP Singh for Sony Entertainment Television India. The series stars Shivaji Satam as ACP Pradyuman, Aditya Srivastava as Senior Inspector Abhijeet, Dayanand Shetty as Senior Inspector Daya, Dinesh Phadnis as Inspector Fredricks (Freddy) and Narendra Gupta as forensic expert Dr. Salunkhe.
Set in Mumbai, the show aired on Sony Entertainment Television for 20 years, making it one of the longest-running television series in India. The show first premiered on January 21, 1998 and reached several milestones, including the 500th episode on January 18, 2008, the 1000th episode on September 13, 2013, the 1500th episode on February 25, 2018, and the last episode on October 27, 2018. During its run, Criminal Detective was a huge hit and left a lasting impression on Indian television audiences.
The story is set in Mumbai and revolves around an undercover IPS officer who disguises himself as a goon. His killer instinct not only displeases his girlfriend but also makes him enemies with corrupt policemen and attracts the attention of a wanted boss. The film showcases action-packed scenes and tense moments.
The cinematography of Wanted was handled by Nirav Shah and Sethu Sriram, while Dilip Deo was responsible for editing. Sajid-Wajid composed the film’s score, while Salim-Sulaiman provided the background music. The songs of the film were shot in Australia and other foreign locations.
Wanted was released in theaters on September 18, 2009 to mixed reviews from critics and audiences. The performances of Salman Khan, Prakash Raj and Mahesh Manjrekar were widely praised, as were the music, humor and crowd scenes. However, the direction and use of clichés were criticized. Despite the mixed reviews, the film was a commercial success, grossing approximately 930 million rupees ($12 million) at the box office, becoming one of the highest-grossing films of 2009. Wanted also received three IIFA nominations and one Filmfare Award.
In Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi, Akshay Kumar plays the lead role while Rekha plays the antagonist, which is her first time playing an antagonist. The film is indeed a part of the popular Khiladi series but it is not the fourth installment. It is actually the sixth film in the series.
The film, which tells the story of a woman seeking revenge on a professional wrestler (played by Akshay Kumar) after the death of her brother, was a huge success and received critical acclaim from the audience.
