Television debut

Dhoopar made his television debut by playing the role of Ansh in Maat Pitaah Ke Charnon Mein Swarg. He also played the role of Bhavesh Patel in Behenein, Star Plus Sushant, Mrs Tendulkar and Shikhar in Zindagi Kahe – Smile Please. He also made a cameo appearance in Sony TV’s Kuch Toh Log Kahenge.

He co-starred with Dipika Kakar in the Colors TV series Sasural Simar Ka from 2013 to 2017. He played the role of Prem Bhardwaj. He also hosted the grand finale of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. From 2017 to 2022, he played the lead role of Karan Luthra in Zee TV’s Kundali Bhagya.

In 2019, he hosted Dance India Dance 7 but later resigned from it.

In 2020, Dhupar made a cameo appearance in Naagin 5 in the films Cheel Akash and Shakura, opposite Hina Khan.

In June 2022, Dhoopar left “Kundali Bhagya” and took maternity leave to focus on starting a new chapter in his life. In the same month, he co-starred with Surbhi Chandna in the role of Rajkumar Yadav in the new drama “Colors”.
