He has also acted in many Indian films including Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd, Guru, Aap Kaa Surroor, Phata Poster Nikla Hero and Humshakals. Interestingly, renowned director Feroze Abbas Khan had initially approached Darshan Jariwala to play the role of Gandhi in his play Mahatma v/s Gandhi. But due to scheduling conflicts, he was unable to take up the project. Despite this, Feroze persisted and eventually cast him in the role of Gandhi in the film Gandhi, My Father, which became a major milestone in Darshan Jariwala’s career.

In this unique story, Toasty finds herself in an unusual sasural (mother-in-law’s house) consisting of seven eccentric men, but there are no saas (mother-in-laws) in the house. The show aired on Sony Entertainment Television and was first aired on October 18, 2010. The show was produced by Vipul D. Shah of Optimystix Entertainment. After a successful run, the show ended on September 6, 2012.

Adalat

Adaalat is an Indian television courtroom drama anthology series that revolves around the character of defense lawyer KD Pathak, played by Ronit Roy. The first season of the show premiered on Sony Entertainment Television on November 20, 2010 and lasted for five years, ending on July 11, 2015. The series was produced by Contiloe Entertainment and starred Ronit Roy in the lead role. In its first season, Adaalat aired a total of 431 episodes.

After a break, Adaalat returned on Sony Entertainment Television on June 4, 2016 and the second season ended on September 4, 2016. The second season consisted of 26 episodes. The show revolves around the interesting incidents and legal battles faced by experienced lawyer KD Pathak while defending his clients in court.
