Cansu Dere was born on October 14, 1980 in Ankara. She is a Turkish film and television actress and model. In 2000, she participated in the Miss Türkiye beauty pageant and won third place.

Her family are Turkish expats from Greece and Bulgaria. She graduated from the Department of Archeology at Istanbul University. In early 2004, Cansu Dere began her film and television acting career.

She started her career as a model. Later, she made her successful debut in the Turkish TV series “Sila”. The TV series is very famous in other countries around the world.

Kansu continued her career by starring in the historical drama “Son Osmanlı Yandım Ali”. She played a blind girl in the movie “Bitter Love”. She has attended various fashion shows in Paris and Milan.
