He took 30 wickets in 9 matches, becoming Jharkhand’s leading wicket-taker in the tournament. On 21 February 2019, he made his first-class debut for Jharkhand in the 2018–19 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

In October 2019, he was included in the India B team for the 2019-20 Deodhar Trophy.

He was acquired by Kolkata Knight Riders at the Indian Premier League 2022 auction in February 2022. On 2 May 2022, he made his debut for the new team against RR.
