Ishana (Ahaan Shetty) develops a deep love for Ramisa (Tara Sutaria). When fate separates him from his lover, his world turns upside down. His adoptive father Baba (Saurabh Shukla) tries to stop him from going down a path of self-destruction and is his only source of comfort. However, a devastating revelation forces the protagonist to act beyond the boundaries in his rage for love.

Ishana, a 20-year-old Indian man living in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand, leads a relatively carefree, predictable life, but an unexpected encounter with Rаmisа, a newly arrived foreigner and an accepting person, changes everything.

Despite their drastically different worldviews, the two are deeply in love with each other. Isana is madly in love with Ramisa, but when their relationship becomes public in front of their family, arguments soon arise.

When Ishna realized his relationship was falling apart, he became extremely aggressive and went through a period of depression. Things quickly spiraled out of control when he realized that Ramisa was only using him for her own selfish gain and never truly loved him. Ishna's rage soon became uncontrollable and he allowed rejection and betrayal to dominate his life.

Tadap's story seems to be a traditional one, with a poor boy falling in love with a rich girl, until the intermission, when the rich girl seems to be forced to marry another man by her father. After the intermission, the plot suddenly has a lot to reveal and is eager to reveal all the factors that led to the lovers' breakup.

The romantic action film Tadap is written and directed by Milan Luthria and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment label. Fox Star Studios is the distributor and co-producer of the film. The film is a remake of the 2018 Telugu blockbuster RX 100 and stars Tara Sutaria and newcomer Ahaan Shetty.
